Premium Auditor

Compensation: $44–$46 per billable hour.

What you will do

• Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies.
• Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and scheduling appointments with insured parties.
• Examine policyholder financial records to determine correct business classifications.
• Write effective descriptions of operations and document audit findings.
• Communicate audit results clearly to both the insured and the home office.
• Travel to multiple audit locations 2-4 days per week.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US with a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of experience performing premium audits is highly desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex financial documents.
• Must maintain automobile insurance with specific bodily injury liability limits.

• Knowledge of Visual Audit software.
