What you will do

• Build and manage a high-performing supplier network across robotics, mobility, structural components, and field consumables.
• Own end-to-end procurement activities: establish sourcing processes, controls, and visibility to enable scalable operations.
• Drive cost reduction at the system level and execute design-to-cost / should-cost initiatives with Product and Engineering.
• Enable reliable fleet scale by aligning supplier capacity with multi-site deployment schedules and batch scaling needs.
• Lead strategic negotiations and contracting with critical suppliers (including robotics OEMs), balancing pricing, flexibility, and downside protection.
• Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to align fleet build strategy with pipeline, pricing, and margin targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, or procurement.
• Experience negotiating equipment or hardware agreements in robotics, automation, construction machinery, or automotive industries.
• Proven track record supporting rapid scaling in operations or deployment environments.
• Strong experience in strategic vendor negotiations, contracting, and global sourcing.
• Ability to operate with a founder’s mentality (bias for action) and work effectively in fast-paced, technical environments with minimal supervision.
