What you will do

• Research pricing, prepare bids, and manage purchase orders and billing inquiries.
• Analyze and refine purchasing processes to achieve cost savings and improved inventory management.
• Lead the scoping, acquisition, and implementation of automated purchasing and asset management systems.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure continued value and relevance.
• Develop performance metrics to measure efficiency and procurement cost savings.
• Monitor software licensing compliance and collaborate with Finance on asset management methods.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• 5 years of experience in purchasing, including work with automated purchasing systems.
• Experience in the procurement and asset management life cycle within a mid to large-sized company.
• Proven track record of significant process improvement in purchasing systems.
• Strong strategic thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in Dallas, TX, USA.
