What you will do

• Own technical delivery of hirify.global products into federal and national security environments—from first prototype through operational acceptance and sustainment.
• Embed with customer teams to understand workflows, threat models, and constraints; run pilots, exercises, and demonstrations that produce decision-quality evidence.
• Configure, integrate, and tune hirify.global mobile core capabilities for each mission profile; provide direct technical support during live operations and incidents.
• Write production-grade code for integrations, tooling, and one-off capabilities that unblock deployments; prototype field-driven features and validate them with real mission use.
• Translate mission requirements into prioritized engineering asks and advocate internally with deployment data, operator quotes, and evidence of blocking issues and cost of inaction.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Business Development, and Solutions Architects to inform the roadmap and convert pilots into programs of record.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering or forward deployed engineering.
• Strong ability to scope ambiguous problems, sequence delivery, and make prioritization decisions without explicit instruction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to brief senior stakeholders and run customer working sessions.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Top Secret security clearance (active TS/SCI strongly preferred).
• Washington, DC or New York-based, or willing to relocate; willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites and partner locations.
• Background in mobile networks/telecom/networking infrastructure or cybersecurity; experience in hands-on customer-facing roles and field-to-roadmap execution.
