What you will do
- Assess hardware and software for security vulnerabilities using static and dynamic analysis techniques.
- Develop and integrate low-level software tools and capabilities for tailored applications across embedded and non-embedded systems.
- Create tools and systems to detect and exploit vulnerabilities and system weaknesses.
- Perform program/system-level risk identification and develop mitigation strategies.
- Document system functionality and implemented changes; drive solutions to complex, unclear requirements.
- Serve as a cyber security SME by planning, designing, and executing large-scale technical software and hardware solutions, including mentoring.
Requirements
- Location: Onsite in Cambridge, MA or Reston, VA.
- Security clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (existing TS/SCI preferred).
- 10–15 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Expertise with contemporary program analysis methods and tools (e.g., Ghidra, IDA, Binary Ninja, Radare, Angr, debuggers, Qemu, AFL++).
- Proficiency in secure coding practices and mitigation techniques against software attack vectors.
Nice to have
- Experience building reverse engineering automation tools and analysis frameworks.
- Experience leveraging machine learning to automate cyber tool development and program analysis.
- Track record creating organization-level technical strategies and leading proposals/business winning.
- Experience proposing and executing high-risk, high-reward R&D projects and transitioning them to funded programs.

Salary: $95,000.00 - $245,000.00 (base salary range for US full-time role)
