What you will do

• Translate complex business problems into technical solutions with business partners and product managers.
• Build systems that model logistics entities and cargo movement in and out of countries.
• Ship products rapidly and incrementally, deploying to production dozens of times per day.
• Design and build deep integrations with government agencies and partners.
• Automate customs filing processes to reduce manual work and operational load.
• Create domain models and deliver supply chain insights via analytics experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience writing software with a strong engineering background.
• Strong preference for simple, well-tested, extensible code.
• Ability to explain technical ideas in common terms to business partners, product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Bias for action and ability to solve problems when they appear.
• Willingness to learn quickly; platform is built with Ruby.
