What you will do

• Design and maintain server-side applications and database architecture.
• Develop new features and enhance the existing codebase using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Conduct regular code reviews and improve overall system efficiency.
• Deploy reusable, testable code and implement automated tests.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.
• Practical experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable vocational training.
• Must be based in Germany, the UK, Portugal, the Netherlands, or Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS (S3, ECS, EC2), Docker, and Terraform.
• Previous experience with NestJS.
