What you will do

  • Design and analyze A/B tests across the marketplace, applying sound statistical methods to support product decisions.
  • Own the measurement framework for your product area, defining key metrics and building instrumentation to track them.
  • Conduct deep-dive exploratory analyses to identify signals of high user lifetime value and inform product strategy.
  • Enable self-service analytics by developing scalable datasets, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Act as a thought partner to product managers and engineers to ensure data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in a data science, analytics, or quantitative research role.
  • Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience querying and manipulating large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Python for analysis, experimentation, and exploratory modeling.
  • Experience with the full A/B testing lifecycle, from design to results interpretation.
  • Strong data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Looker.
  • Ability to influence product decisions through data-driven insights and clear communication.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to advanced statistical methods such as causal inference, propensity scoring, or Bayesian approaches.
  • Familiarity with LLMs or NLP tooling for analytics use cases.
  • Experience in travel, e-commerce, or two-sided marketplace dynamics.
