Salary: $101,000 – $238,000

What you will do

• Lead media strategy and execution for major company, product, and partnership announcements.
• Translate complex technical and institutional developments into clear narratives for mainstream and trade audiences.
• Secure high-quality earned coverage across top-tier business, financial, and crypto publications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and producers at major financial outlets.
• Manage the full announcement lifecycle including strategy, press materials, pitching, and spokesperson preparation.
• Monitor market and policy narratives to identify timely opportunities for brand positioning.

Requirements

• 7+ years of communications, PR, or media relations experience in crypto, fintech, or financial services.
• Proven track record of securing coverage for major institutional or product announcements.
• Strong existing relationships with top-tier business, financial, and broadcast media.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into simple, compelling narratives.
• Must be based in or able to be regularly present in New York for media engagements.
• Strong understanding of Web3, including DeFi, tokenization, and blockchain infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting communications for banking, capital markets, or financial infrastructure.
• Agency management experience setting expectations and coordinating execution.
• Experience supporting executives in broadcast studios, on podcasts, and at live conferences.
