What you will do

  • Own the narrative engine by drafting bylines, posts, and category-defining manifestos for leadership.
  • Build and manage executive profiles, securing placements in podcasts, stages, and industry lists.
  • Manufacture high-impact moments including product reveals and major partner launches.
  • Develop a media franchise with recurring, data-driven content that journalists rely on.
  • Build and maintain direct relationships with key reporters in fintech, payments, and AI.
  • Measure and optimize communication efforts based on share of voice and inbound impact.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in PR, communications, content, or brand roles.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for various formats and audiences.
  • Established relationships with reporters covering fintech, payments, retail, or AI.
  • Proven ability to operate with a founder's mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Fluency with modern tools, including AI for drafting, research, and production.
  • Must be based in New York City to support the hybrid work model.
