What you will do
- Oversee procurement operations and coordinate workflows to meet program objectives.
- Gather requirements and develop procurement and subcontracting strategies.
- Manage purchase requests and lead the development of Subcontract Statements of Work (SSOWs).
- Serve as the primary strategic liaison between customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Cultivate vendor relationships to ensure performance, compliance, and delivery.
- Monitor procurement KPIs and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in procurement, vendor management, or contract administration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Government contracting practices (FAR/DFARS).
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Proven ability to manage procurement activities independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and task management skills under tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with engineering and construction disciplines (electrical, mechanical, telecommunications, etc.).
- Advanced experience developing detailed Subcontract Statements of Work (SSOWs).
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, or CPPB.
