TL;DR

Lead Product Designer (AI): Driving the full arc of product design from discohirify.global to launch for complex, connected, and AI-driven systems with an accent on ambiguity management and business-critical outcomes. Focus on facilitating discohirify.global workshops, bridging the gap between design and engineering, and integrating AI into design workflows to build scalable, high-impact products.

Location: Must be authorized to work in Colombia

Compensation: $64,000–$107,000 USD per year

What you will do

  • Own the full design lifecycle, including UX/UI, research, prototyping, and design systems.
  • Lead discohirify.global workshops and alignment sessions with clients to define ambiguous problems.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure design intent is maintained through launch.
  • Integrate AI tools into design workflows to improve fluidity and efficiency.
  • Conduct design QA to ensure shipped products meet high craft and quality standards.
  • Communicate design strategy and thinking effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in Colombia without sponsorship.
  • At least 7 years of relevant professional design experience.
  • Proven track record of launching real-world products, including zero-to-one and incremental work.
  • Strong design systems thinking as a core competency.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and manage complex, evolving requirements.
  • Experience integrating AI into design practice.

Nice to have

  • Experience with IoT and connected-product design.
  • Proficiency in React, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience designing for data-heavy or analytical products.
  • Experience designing agentic or AI-driven systems.
