TL;DR
Senior Developer Experience Engineer (DevEx): Building and evolving internal developer platform capabilities, automation, CI/CD systems, and self-service workflows for a security platform with an accent on stability, resilience, and scalability. Focus on hands-on implementation of developer tooling, improving developer productivity and operational excellence, and integrating AI-assisted engineering into day-to-day workflows.
Location: Remote US
Salary: $160,000 - $190,000 base plus bonus and equity

What you will do
- Develop tools and frameworks to automate operational tasks and deployments for the Portal and Endpoint Agents in Azure and on end-user machines.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and improve day-to-day engineering workflows for reliable software delivery at scale.
- Continue development of an internally-developed Go-based CLI and expand self-service capabilities for developers.
- Develop and evolve AI tooling and integrate AI-assisted engineering into daily development workflows.
- Enable and accelerate development teams through tooling in test and production environments.
- Partner with product development teams to improve software architecture for scalability, reliability, cost, and performance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience running large applications in cloud environments.
- Experience building and deploying applications into containerized environments.
- High coding proficiency in Ruby, Go, or Python (required).
- Experience with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD platforms.
- Experience designing and optimizing workflows that improve developer productivity and reduce work cycle friction.
- Effective communication and empathy for developers using your tools every day.
