What you will do
- Serve as the primary sound design point of contact for assigned projects.
- Partner with Audio Leadership to define and execute the project's sonic goals and pillars.
- Drive day-to-day sound design execution while maintaining cohesive sonic identity.
- Lead, mentor, and support sound designers to foster team growth and creative momentum.
- Create and maintain sound design documentation, including style guides and system designs.
- Implement content into Wwise and UE5 and troubleshoot audio bugs.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional game audio experience with at least one shipped title.
- Proven experience in leading sound design efforts.
- Expert ability in sound design, mixing, editing, and audio design techniques.
- Excellent understanding of the end-to-end game development pipeline.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with cross-discipline teams and outsourcing partners.
- Ability to create clear and thorough documentation such as style guides.
Nice to have
- Audio training or degree in audio production.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages.
- Post-production mix experience.
