What you will do

• Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Modeling Artists to meet creative and production deadlines.
• Ensure all assets, including characters, sets, and props, meet strict aesthetic and technical standards.
• Oversee the modeling process and track asset progress using ShotGrid.
• Collaborate with Surfacing and Rigging teams to ensure clean, optimized topology.
• Troubleshoot technical issues proactively to prevent downstream production delays.
• Work with the Pipeline team to identify and champion workflow improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Lead position within asset creation or modeling.
• Expert-level proficiency in Maya and industry-standard modeling workflows.
• Mastery of production tracking software, specifically ShotGrid.
• Strong communication skills and proactive leadership style.
• Legally eligible to work in British Columbia, Canada.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of both 3D episodic and feature film workflows.
• Familiarity with ZBrush or Substance software.
