Accounting Analyst

Location: Hybrid (Warsaw, Poland) - mandatory 3 days in office schedule

What you will do

• Manage daily accounting operations and month-end close activities, including closing subledgers, preparing accruals, and recording journal entries.
• Map local accounting records to the corporate ledger and lead integration accounting workflow reporting.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, coordinating with onshore and offshore teams to resolve aging items.
• Ensure all transactions comply with US GAAP and company financial policies.
• Assess and implement SOX controls and maintain detailed process documentation.
• Support internal and external audits and lead ad hoc financial projects to completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
• Must be based in Warsaw, Poland, to adhere to the hybrid office schedule.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Licensed CPA, Chartered Accountant, or a candidate for certification.
• Experience with Big Four firms or public accounting.
• Experience with Oracle ERP (On-prem/Cloud) or SAP Business Objects.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and Workiva applications.
• Prior experience in corporate accounting within the industry.
