Consultant Cloud AI Sovereignty (AI/Cloud): Designing and implementing sovereign AI solutions and governance frameworks for highly regulated sectors with an accent on data residency, regulatory compliance, and AI ethics. Focus on translating EU AI Act and GDPR requirements into technical architectures and MLOps/LLMOps operational models.

Location: Remote (only available within Slovakia) or Hybrid in Kosice

Salary: Base salary from 1,900€ brutto + 3,000€ Sign-on Bonus

What you will do

• Advise customers on AI and data sovereignty, ensuring compliance in highly regulated environments (public sector, finance, healthcare).
• Define sovereignty requirements for AI workloads, including data residency, encryption, access controls, and auditability.
• Design and implement AI governance frameworks covering model lifecycles, risk classification, and approval workflows.
• Support the build of compliant AI architectures (secure-by-design) and operational models using MLOps/LLMOps.
• Translate regulatory needs from frameworks like the EU AI Act, GDPR, NIS2, and DORA into implementable technical controls.
• Develop customer-specific concepts, roadmaps, and target operating models for sovereign AI adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in consulting, architecture, or security & compliance roles with customer-facing responsibility.
• Proven hands-on experience delivering AI/data platforms or governance/security controls.
• Strong understanding of data sovereignty principles (KMS/HSM, residency, third-country transfer risk).
• Familiarity with EU regulatory environments including GDPR, NIS2, and DORA.
• Must be based in Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Nice to have

• EU AI Act readiness knowledge.
• Practical experience with cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP) or sovereign private cloud alternatives.
• Expertise in data governance concepts like data classification, lineage, and DLP.
