What you will do

• Review and approve monthly financial activities including accruals, AR batches, and CAPEX distributions.
• Manage and reconcile tenant security deposits, CAM recoveries, and complex tenant account ledgers.
• Assist with annual budgets, reforecasts, and OPE reconciliations for assigned portfolios.
• Ensure SOC I compliance and maintain accuracy in the general ledger.
• Provide training and support to the property management team on accounting software like Yardi or MRI.
• Coordinate property transitions and assist with accounts receivable and payable processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience in property management or a similar financial role.
• Proficiency with Yardi and/or MRI accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial lease recovery language and real estate terminology.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX.
