Staff Software Developer (Fintech)

Location: United States; in-office collaboration is expected for 10+ days per month, with the exact schedule determined by managers and teams.

Annual base salary for positions based in New York: $196,000–$245,000 USD, excluding equity, bonuses, and additional compensation.

What you will do

• Drive architectural decisions and establish technical standards for the liquidity platform.
• Modernize the core platform with cloud-native architecture, scalable workflows, and resilient services.
• Build real-time cash and liquidity data pipelines covering banks, accounts, currencies, and legal entities.
• Develop support for traditional fiat currencies and digital assets.
• Build and optimize AI models for cash-flow prediction and real-time account balancing.
• Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, improve observability and incident response, and own critical systems through production support.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years with complex business-critical production systems.
• Experience leading technical designs implemented by teams of 3+ engineers and making long-term architectural decisions.
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET and relational databases, preferably SQL Server, including query optimization, indexing, and data modeling.
• Strong experience building large-scale multi-tenant enterprise applications, RESTful APIs, and alternative API patterns such as GraphQL, gRPC, and webhooks.
• Proficiency with a major cloud platform, preferably Azure, plus Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, and microservices deployment patterns.
• Deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and related technologies, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
