What you will do

• Design and implement backend services for telemetry processing, orchestration, and platform APIs.
• Evolve the architecture from database-driven logic to a modular, event-driven backend platform.
• Build and maintain reliable integrations with charger telemetry and ticketing systems.
• Improve workflow reliability, idempotency, retry mechanisms, and auditability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate operational playbooks into backend capabilities.
• Define engineering standards, testing strategies, and long-term architectural patterns.

Requirements

• Significant backend engineering experience in production systems.
• Strong proficiency in C# / .NET and designing distributed cloud-based APIs.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, and workflow management.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and familiarity with time-series or document data models.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD, and AWS.
• Fluent English required; German or Italian is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with rules engines or complex backend automation.
