Senior .NET Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Own and resolve complex P1/P2 incidents affecting Azure-hosted .NET applications and integrations.
• Troubleshoot issues across application, infrastructure, platform, identity, networking, storage, APIs, and background services.
• Lead escalations from L1 and L2 support through investigation, resolution, and closure.
• Perform root-cause analysis using logs, metrics, traces, and distributed telemetry, and prepare executive-ready documentation.
• Configure and tune Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, alerts, and operational dashboards.
• Improve application performance, availability, resiliency, and operational efficiency in collaboration with Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Support teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET applications, including production support or operational troubleshooting.
• Advanced experience troubleshooting ASP.NET Core applications, REST APIs, integrations, and background services at production scale.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure App Services, AKS, storage, networking, and Microsoft Entra ID or Azure AD.
• Experience independently resolving critical P1/P2 incidents and performing root-cause analysis.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills and experience diagnosing performance, memory, threading, asynchronous processing, and integration issues.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including executive-ready written communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with vulnerability remediation, security patching, and deployment troubleshooting using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Docker Compose, Helm, Terraform, Bicep, or containerized workloads beyond basic AKS operations.
• Experience with Azure cost optimization, scaling policies, reserved capacity, or operational enterprise systems.
• Microsoft Azure or ITIL Foundation certification, or practical experience with formal incident-management processes.
