What you will do

• Manage and architect group-wide Google Workspace and Slack environments for tens of thousands of users.
• Provide L3 technical support and act as the ultimate escalation point for critical emergencies.
• Drive complex cross-platform initiatives to improve environment scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Design and improve business processes and IT guidelines in collaboration with security and engineering teams.
• Lead cross-team Proof of Concepts (POCs) and author technical documentation and RFCs.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in the hiring process to maintain high engineering standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience managing and architecting large-scale enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Strong expertise in Google Workspace and Slack administration, including OUs and Enterprise Grid.
• Solid understanding of engineering best practices regarding observability, scalability, and security.
• Proven ability to negotiate with stakeholders and foster alignment across global teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for reliability management.
• Must be based in Berlin, Germany, and able to work from the office 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Professional Google Workspace or Slack Administrator certifications.
• Experience with GAM tool, Google Vault, and API integrations.
• Knowledge of IAM, SSO, and workflow automation (low-code/no-code).
• Experience leveraging AI tools like Claude Code for solution development.
