What you will do

• Manage bi-weekly payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt employees across multi-state and international environments.
• Lead the global rollout of centralized payroll processes and systems while building a high-performing international payroll team.
• Partner with HR to ensure compliant onboarding and separation processes.
• Design and implement short-term and long-term strategies for continuous improvement in payroll operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international legal and tax requirements, including GDPR.
• Oversee payroll account reconciliations and support month, quarter, and year-end close processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management required.
• 12-15+ years of multi-state and international payroll experience in a global company.
• Proven experience in a senior managerial role building high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of human resources, corporate finance, and performance metrics.
• Hands-on knowledge of payroll and timekeeping systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.
• Experience with Ultimate Software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
