Director, Finance (Technology & Engineering)

TL;DR

Director, Finance (Technology & Engineering): Providing operational finance support to the Technology & Engineering organization with an accent on strategic decision-making, capital expenditure management, and financial forecasting. Focus on partnering with leadership to manage $150M+ in expenses and infrastructure investments for a major media company.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Englewood Cliffs, NJ (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

Salary: $135,000 - $160,000

What you will do

• Partner with the SVP of Technology & Engineering and operations leadership to drive strategic financial decisions.
• Manage tracking of operating expenses and capital spend for technology infrastructure and satellite operations.
• Collaborate with the Corporate FP&A team on budgets, long-range plans, and in-year pacing.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support day-to-day operations and long-term technical initiatives.
• Oversee financial support for a team of 600+ employees and multiple operations vice presidents.
• Manage key vendor relationships from a financial and operational perspective.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven project management skills and execution focus.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization.
• Must be able to work on-site in Englewood Cliffs, NJ at least 3 days per week.
