What you will do

• Drive link building campaigns end-to-end: planning, prospecting, outreach, placement, and relationship management.
• Partner with South Africa SEO and Global Outreach leads to prioritize high-impact opportunities and hit backlink targets.
• Build and nurture relationships with publishers, creators, and partners to secure editorial backlinks and brand mentions.
• Identify and execute opportunities to increase visibility across key platforms, aligned with local market nuances.
• Ensure placements meet quality standards; monitor performance, report progress, and share insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, community, and product teams; leverage AI tools to improve and scale outreach.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid in Johannesburg office (2–3 days/week in office; other days remote).
• Strong English skills.
• Experience in link building, digital PR, content marketing, or similar outreach-focused roles with solid SEO fundamentals.
• Ability to manage outreach and build genuine, trust-based relationships with publishers, creators, and partners.
• Data-informed, detail-oriented approach with strong organization and performance tracking across multiple outreach activities.
• Experience using SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog) and/or outreach platforms (e.g., Pitchbox, BuzzStream).
