What you will do

• Craft competitive SEO audits, proposals, and performance reports.
• Assess website health and itemize technical opportunities using industry-standard tools.
• Execute site optimization projects, including UX redesigns and large-scale keyword research.
• Develop strategies to improve visibility within Google AI Overviews and generative search engines.
• Optimize site architecture and content for semantic density to improve parsing by LLM crawlers.
• Monitor brand mentions and citations within generative search results using emerging AI tracking methods.

Requirements

• Must be based in South Africa
• 3-5+ years of experience in SEO programs, preferably within an agency environment.
• Advanced understanding of technical SEO, including crawling, indexing, rendering, and core web vitals.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and enterprise SEO tools like SEMRush or Ahrefs.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and CSS as they relate to search performance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex search concepts.
