What you will do

  • Identify existing sponsorship clients missing Lead Insights in their contracts and convert them through targeted outreach.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Event Sales Directors on email campaigns and aligned messaging for Lead Insights.
  • Run telesales and client engagement to explain Lead Insights features and benefits, maintaining regular communication to ensure satisfaction.
  • Sell delegate places over the phone for events and training courses globally (physical and digital offerings).
  • Advise customers on event/course range and suitability across industries, and find cross-selling opportunities within client portfolios.
  • Track conversion rates and client feedback, reporting progress against a 20%+ conversion target.

Requirements

  • Based in the Toronto office.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in events or sponsorship.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing and event sales).
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data management systems (plus).
