What you will do
- Own corporate travel operations strategy, operating models, governance frameworks, and performance metrics.
- Manage end-to-end travel operations: booking, ticketing, fulfillment, changes/cancellations, invoicing, and reporting with SLA/KPI ownership.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Procurement, Risk/Security, Leadership) to improve traveler experience, cost control, and duty of care.
- Manage travel suppliers and TMCs: monitor SLAs, run business reviews, enforce penalties/contract compliance, and support RFP/sourcing.
- Drive travel spend optimization using MIS/analytics for trend/leakage identification, savings delivery, and budgeting/forecasting.
- Lead process excellence and transformation: re-engineering, automation/digitization, adoption of online booking tools and expense systems, and continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma).
Requirements
- Graduate degree.
- Experience leading large teams and multi-layered operations with measurable KPIs and continuous improvement.
- Ability to ensure compliance with company travel policy, regulatory requirements, and data privacy laws.
- Experience managing duty of care programs, traveler tracking, and emergency response protocols.
- Strong stakeholder management across internal functions and external vendors.
