What you will do

• Design curated models across 18 data domains to transform raw data into business-ready entities.
• Implement dbt project architecture following the staging → intermediate → marts pattern.
• Define and enforce a data quality framework including freshness checks and volume anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure model outputs align with CDP activation needs.
• Set analytics engineering standards for naming conventions, modular design, and code reviews.
• Partner with data engineers and CDP architects to optimize data flow from ingestion to activation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• 3+ years in a lead or senior role influencing technical standards.
• Expert-level proficiency in dbt (macros, packages, incremental models).
• Expert-level SQL skills for complex transformations and performance optimization.
• Strong dimensional modeling skills for analytical flexibility and CDP consumption.
• Experience with AWS data stack, specifically Athena and/or Redshift.

Nice to have

• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Familiarity with CDP platforms and data observability tools (Monte Carlo, Elementary).
• Background in consulting or client-services environments.
• Exposure to BI layers such as Looker or Tableau.
