What you will do
- Perform break-fix and hardware installation activities across various and multi-vendor hardware platforms.
- Provide technical support for Data Centre products, including Servers, Power, Storage, and Mainframes.
- Coordinate hardware and software support and delivery of operational services as the primary technical interface for clients.
- Operate within a 24/7 maintenance coverage shift rotation pattern to ensure client uptime.
- Utilize hand tools and simple test equipment to diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop broad and deep technical support skills.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Must be based in Hampshire, North London, or Home Counties.
- Ability to adopt manual handling practices and possess manual dexterity.
- Sound basis of IT competences and broad knowledge of the consumer and business IT marketplace.
- Ability to work independently while following structured, controlled workflows to meet service level targets.
- Security Clearances may be required based on specific account requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience working on logo products.
- Experience with Cisco network products.
- Previous experience as a field engineer.
