What you will do
- Provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, from discovery to deployment.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to integrators, consultants, and end users.
- Consult on system architecture design, including readers, controllers, and cloud/on-prem platforms.
- Support specification development by working with A&E firms and security consultants.
- Conduct technical training sessions for channel partners to improve installation quality and product adoption.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management and engineering to resolve issues and enhance offerings.
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of experience in sales engineering or technical support within electronic access control or physical security.
- Strong understanding of credentials (RFID, mobile, biometrics), readers, and controllers.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, PoE, VLANs) and system integration principles.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for both technical and customer-facing audiences.
- Willingness to travel within the region (approximately 30–50%).
Nice to have
- Experience with Control iD or similar biometric/IP-based access control platforms.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as UL 294, OSDP, and SIA protocols.
- Background in low-voltage system design or installation.
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish or Portuguese.
