What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC multitasking machining centers, lathes, EDM, and manual equipment.
• Perform complex G-code program edits and interpret factory work orders, routings, and drawings.
• Conduct first-piece inspections using handheld measuring equipment and CMMs to ensure strict tolerances.
• Manage pre-set up operations, including downloading programs, preparing raw materials, and building tools.
• Collaborate with team members to identify problems and implement continuous improvement (CI) opportunities via Kaizen and SMED.
• Follow preventative maintenance procedures on equipment and report failures immediately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of trade school or industry-related courses.
• Minimum 4 years of on-the-job experience.
• Ability to perform complex mathematical equations in a technical manner.
• Knowledge of machining processes for materials such as stainless steels, nickel alloys, and carbon steel.
