What you will do

• Architect and implement scalable backend microservices within the Payments, Disbursements, or GRC squads.
• Develop and optimize secure fund collection systems and efficient transaction processing.
• Design robust services for the secure and timely disbursement of funds to beneficiaries.
• Build and enhance systems for user onboarding, KYC, and regulatory compliance (GRC).
• Manage cloud infrastructure on GCP capable of handling millions of daily requests.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Proven track record of building and shipping software in the Fintech domain (payments, disbursements, or compliance).
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and REST API design.
• Experience with Hexagonal Architecture and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of security protocols, KYC/AML processes, and compliance standards.
• English: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher required for professional communication.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Python, Flask, FastAPI, gRPC, Redis, and SQL.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Firestore, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, BigQuery).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform.
