What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python.
• Contribute to architecture decisions to scale payment and financial systems.
• Develop cloud-native solutions utilizing GCP services such as Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Firestore, and BigQuery.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and deliver technical solutions.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, observability, and developer tooling.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development fundamentals.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Knowledge of Flask, FastAPI, Redis, or gRPC.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Familiarity with NewRelic and PagerDuty.
