What you will do

• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, web services, and file-based interfaces.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to create detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Perform system and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from initial specification to user-acceptance testing and final rollout.
• Collaborate with product consultants, project managers, and technical teams to implement system changes.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for systems in live operation.

Requirements

• Must have pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.
• Significant experience in PL/SQL development and SQLplus.
• Proficiency in Unix environment shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of relational database design and documentation practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with users and IT staff.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Expertise in Apex and Java.
• Knowledge of Northgate Housing modules.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
