UIR Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Analyze technical problems, gather diagnostic information, and execute initial resolution approaches.
• Perform hardware installation, assembly, alignment, and testing of equipment at customer locations.
• Execute system setup and recovery for upgrade packages and local field swaps.
• Train customers on equipment usage and routine maintenance, recommending procedure changes when needed.
• Identify process gaps and report improvement opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
• Coach and provide technical support to less experienced engineers on their initial tasks.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
• Experience in the technical industry; semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined by the United States Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Flexibility and openness to accommodate various work settings and locations.
