Service Engineer (ATD, Hsinchu Taiwan)

TL;DR

Service Engineer (ATD, Hsinchu Taiwan): On-site service of production tester systems at customer OSAT factories with an accent on downtime troubleshooting, jam recovery, and utilization improvement. Focus on performing new system installations, data collection and root cause analysis for mechanical, electrical, and automation issues, and preventative maintenance.

Location: Jubei City, TW (onsite). Able to business trip occasionally domestic and abroad. Able to accept night/weekend shifts or overtime if needed.

What you will do

• Provide on-site service for production tester systems including downtime troubleshooting, jam recovery, and utilization improvement.
• Perform new system installations, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Collect and analyze data to identify root causes of mechanical, electrical, and automation problems.
• Report major issues daily to the team and escalate internally.
• Conduct preventative maintenance per guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in electronics or mechanical.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in electronics, mechanical, or semiconductor areas.
• Familiarity with automation testing and maintenance of automation equipment preferred.
• Basic skills in automation logs and testing logs analysis.
• Able to communicate in English both in writing and speaking.
• Strong reporting skills using MS Office, especially PPT.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to business trip occasionally domestic and abroad, accept shift work including nights/weekends or overtime.
• Willing to learn.
