Salary: $135,000 - $190,000 yearly

What you will do

• Supervise the daily editorial vision, suggesting stories and guests.
• Manage and copy-edit segment producers' scripts.
• Lead the show planning process and manage live broadcasts from the control room, including breaking news.
• Directly manage, coach, and mentor show staff.
• Produce content for digital platforms, social media, and DTC products.
• Fill in for the Executive Producer as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 6 years of editorial experience in a fast-paced newsroom.
• Proven experience in control room operations and breaking news.
• Ability to develop producer talent and manage tight deadlines.
• Unrestricted US work authorization is required.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Strong journalistic judgment and knowledge of current events, politics, and American history.
• Experience with field tape production (scripting, shooting, and producing).
