Salary: $93,000 - $120,000

What you will do

• Follow major news stories and identify opportunities for live coverage.
• Collaborate with anchors, correspondents, and reporters to develop video franchises.
• Pitch, research, shoot, and manage live production for the NBC News app and site.
• Execute new video formats and experiment with visual styles.
• Analyze content performance and incorporate feedback into production strategies.
• Uphold high editorial standards across all produced content.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience producing for a live news outlet or show.
• Strong news judgment and excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with on-camera talent and broadcast teams.
• Flexibility to respond to breaking news outside of regular working hours.
• Must be able to work from the New York office at least four days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience working on DTC news video platforms.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and post-production tools.
• Experience shooting with Sony/Canon camera systems and iPhones.
