Location: Required to be performed full-time from an hirify.global-designated worksite in Universal City, California

Salary: $125,000 - $170,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead all aspects of breaking news and live event coverage across linear, streaming, and social platforms.
• Oversee the editorial and visual quality of all newscasts and special projects to ensure impact and consistency.
• Incorporate emerging production tools, interactive graphics, and social-first storytelling formats.
• Collaborate with NBC4 Los Angeles to align coverage strategies, share resources, and strengthen duopoly impact.
• Coach and inspire a team of producers and reporters, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
• Utilize audience research and analytics to refine editorial decisions and storytelling approaches.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in a medium-to-large market newsroom in leadership or executive producer roles.
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (highly preferred for editing and leading).
• Active Driver’s License and a good driving record.
• Proficiency with modern newsroom systems such as Dalet and Adobe Premiere.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
