Salary: $250,000 – $400,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing engineering team while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Partner with the CTO and product leadership to define engineering strategy, architecture, and execution roadmaps.
• Own the delivery of the engineering roadmap, ensuring high-quality, timely shipping of features.
• Set and uphold engineering best practices regarding code quality, security, reliability, and incident response.
• Establish metrics and systems for engineering effectiveness, including planning, estimation, and technical debt management.
• Drive continuous improvement of platform performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership roles as an engineering manager or tech lead.
• Proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams in fast-moving environments.
• Strong technical foundation with hands-on experience shipping and operating production systems.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to lead through ambiguity.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally to translate product goals into technical plans.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Early-stage startup experience.
• Experience with Go, GRPC, Kubernetes, React, TypeScript, AWS, or Terraform.
• Experience building AI-enabled product features.
