What you will do

• Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions, including both individual and group therapy.
• Develop, revise, and maintain comprehensive patient treatment plans and records.
• Perform intake and readmission services while providing supportive follow-up counseling.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with community providers and agencies.
• Ensure strict adherence to program policies, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Participate in in-service training and contribute to an inclusive working environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in human services or a related field.
• Valid professional license in Washington, DC (CAC I, CAC II, LGPC, LGSW, LICSW, or LPC).
• Knowledge of substance abuse populations and treatment planning methodologies.
• Ability to exercise proper judgment with confidential and sensitive information.
• Capacity to make effective decisions quickly in stressful situations.
