What you will do

• Lead and supervise survey crews to perform exact measurements and determine site layouts for unit installation.
• Utilize Google Earth, BlueBeam Revu, Agtek, and AutoCad for data preparation, analysis, and takeoffs.
• Create models in Leica, Topcon, and Trimble and conduct ground surveys to establish baselines and elevations.
• Calculate heights, depths, and property lines while verifying the accuracy of calculations and measurements.
• Coordinate survey findings with engineering and architectural personnel, as well as clients.
• Train and direct instrumentmen, rodmen, and helpers in surveying activities and map drafting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in industrial construction field with layout or survey responsibilities.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in AutoCad, Bluebeam, and GPS systems (e.g., Carlson GPS).
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor (lifting up to 50 lbs) in extreme weather conditions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment background checks and drug screens.

Nice to have

• Drone certification with TOPO experience.
• NCCER certifications in Site Layout, Crew Leadership, Project Supervision, or Project Management.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certifications.
