What you will do

• Act as a technical advisor for Communications, Security, Electrical, and Electronic Solutions sales teams.
• Develop Bill of Materials (BOMs), technical designs using Visio, AutoCAD, iBWave, or JVSG, and written specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to sales representatives to help execute sales strategies.
• Collaborate with the Global Technical Resource Center (GTRC) to scale project delivery and improve turnaround times.
• Manage relationships with Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) manufacturers at regional or global levels.
• Deliver technical presentations and execute hands-on training at client meetings and industry trade shows.

Requirements

• Must be a US applicant.
• 9+ years of experience in technical design, implementation, and/or commissioning.
• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience (Bachelor's in a technical/engineering discipline preferred).
• Experience designing with Visio, AutoCAD 2D, JVSG, or iBwave.
• Relevant industry certifications such as BICSI RCDD, OSP, NTS, or DCDC are preferred.
• Ability to travel 10% - 25%.
