What you will do

• Establish and optimize monitoring, alerting, and observability of services using a wide range of tools.
• Identify root causes for incidents and coordinate outage resolution across multiple teams.
• Research blockchain workflows to identify optimization opportunities and improve monitoring.
• Automate operational tasks and runbooks using Python, Lambda, shell scripts, ArgoCD, and Ansible.
• Collaborate with R&D and Support to provide guidance on integration and system monitoring.
• Perform periodic on-call duties and emergency response.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an SRE or Infrastructure Backend Engineer in a SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Bash.
• 3+ years of experience with monitoring systems such as DataDog, Prometheus, Splunk, or New Relic.
• Strong experience with AWS, Linux systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or ArgoCD.
• Must be based in New York (Remote or Onsite).

Nice to have

• Previous experience with cryptocurrencies or blockchain technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux optimization, Nginx, and MySQL.
• Experience participating in Kubernetes migration projects.
• Previous experience as a C++ or Node.js developer.
• BSc in Computer Science or relevant technical certifications.
