Site Reliability Engineer (Web3)

TL;DR

Site Reliability Engineer (Web3): Scaling and maintaining blockchain infrastructure for the Arbitrum stack with an accent on Kubernetes, GitOps, and cloud-agnostic deployment. Focus on designing observability systems, automating operational workflows, and ensuring the reliability of Ethereum scaling solutions.

Location: Remote (United States). This role cannot be performed in California or Colorado.

What you will do

• Operate production Kubernetes clusters and build scalable, declarative infrastructure using Terraform.
• Design and implement CI/CD workflows utilizing ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and CodeBuild.
• Build and maintain observability systems with Prometheus, Loki, Mimir, and Grafana.
• Diagnose and solve complex networking and storage issues in distributed systems.
• Automate operational workflows using Python, Go, or Bash.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead postmortems to improve system reliability over time.

Requirements

• Experience with GitOps and treating both infrastructure and application delivery as code.
• Proficiency in Linux, shell scripting, and programming in Python or Go.
• Strong experience operating within cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proven track record of deploying and maintaining Kubernetes environments.
• Ability to design systems with security-first principles, including least privilege and threat modeling.
• Must be based in the United States (excluding California and Colorado).
