What you will do

• Lead network projects focusing on deployment, scaling, technology refresh, and optimization.
• Develop automation and mechanisms to reduce manual operations and improve network reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using scientific analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze network performance using metrics to ensure secure and safe operations.
• Plan and deliver new systems, processes, and tools to improve customer delivery.
• Research and implement upcoming networking systems into the AWS environment.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience with IP protocols.
• Proficiency in major internet routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS and Junos.
• Robust troubleshooting and network analysis skills.
• Must be a national of an EU member state.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ITIL or COBIT frameworks and operational excellence methodologies.
• Experience with Unix and scripting languages like Perl, shell, C, or C++.
• Understanding of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving problems directly with customers.
