What you will do

• Resolve customer concerns related to the installation, operation, and maintenance of Arista products.
• Investigate complex hardware and software network issues, collaborating with sales and development teams.
• Provide detailed post-call summaries, including root cause analysis and next-step solutions.
• Document recurring technical issues to support product quality and development programs.
• Troubleshoot dynamic Hyperscaler environments, including networks built for AI and accelerated computing.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Santa Clara, CA, USA
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting network protocols.
• Proficiency in L2 technologies (VLAN, LACP, LLDP, STP/RSTP/MST, MACSec) and L3 technologies (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, IPv4/IPv6).
• Strong comfort level with Linux and experience with troubleshooting tools like tcpdump and Wireshark.
• Knowledge of Cloud and AI technologies, including QoS, FlowControl, PFC, and Packet Forwarding.
• BS degree in a technical field, preferably focused on Networking.

Nice to have

• Experience with open-source network operating systems, especially SONiC.
• Familiarity with shell scripting, Python, gNMI/gRPC, or Ansible.
• Experience troubleshooting high-speed network connections (400G/800G) and OSFP/QSFP/LPO optics.
• Prior TAC or customer-facing engineering experience.
