What you will do

• Design and operate high-speed Ethernet and InfiniBand networks tailored for AI and HPC-oriented environments.
• Collaborate with deployment teams to verify bills of materials (BOMs) and provide input on data center layouts and rack elevations.
• Troubleshoot complex performance issues across network layers and serve as an escalation point for critical infrastructure problems.
• Automate hardware deployment and day-to-day operational tasks using Python or Bash.
• Design and support WAN infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity across the platform.

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and operating high-speed Ethernet networks (VLAN, LACP, MLAG, BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN).
• Hands-on expertise with InfiniBand configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting (Subnet Managers, QoS, RDMA).
• Strong knowledge of WAN technologies including MPLS, BGP, IPSec, GRE, and SD-WAN.
• Familiarity with HPC networking topologies such as Fat Tree and Rail.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash.
• Location: Must be based in the UK
