Location: Hybrid model from Kraków or Warsaw office (once a week attendance required)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and test high-performance Java microservices using state-of-the-art technologies.
• Take ownership of incident tracking and propose architectural improvements to current applications.
• Promote an engineering culture of quality and innovation within the development team.
• Create and maintain critical technical documentation, including System Design and RFC documents.
• Collaborate with testers and peers, providing mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL/noSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP (or similar cloud).
• Experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Good command of English.
• Must be based in Poland or able to work hybrid from Kraków/Warsaw.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude to accelerate development.
• Ability to critically evaluate and responsibly apply AI-generated outputs in professional workflows.
